Clinical Trials & Research

There are approximately 120 clinical trials open across the paediatric cancer institutions in Australia and New Zealand.  These trials include early phase and randomised therapeutic trials as well as non-therapeutic trials in areas such as supportive care and psycho-oncology.

ANZCHOG has an early phase trial group, the Australian Children’s Cancer Trials (ACCT), which develops and runs early phase trials.

ANZCHOG has developed a national paediatric cancer clinical trials registry, that is available online for the use of health professionals, as well as patients and their families.  This Registry lists all trials available in Australia, including international trials, and the institutions at which they are available.
