The Federal Government and Robert Connor Dawes Foundation will co-fund ANZCHOG's AIM BRAIN project.
The Access to Innovative Molecular profiling for paediatric BRAIN cancers (AIM BRAIN) project is an international collaborative trial that will enable diagnostic molecular profiling of children with brain cancer.
The funding from the Federal Government was announced today by the Minister for Health, Hon Greg Hunt, and, with support from the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, will enable Australian researchers at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research and Monash Health to implement a platform for clinical diagnostic testing for paediatric brain cancer, using state-of the art molecular genetic and epigenetic techniques.
